QuintworX

Independent sell side consultancy for publishers

Independent sell side consultancy for publishers and media owners.

QuintworX works only on the sell side: GAM and ad stack efficiency, Prebid and supply paths, direct and programmatic packaging, first-party audience data, pricing, yield and reporting, with no resale and no vendor commissions.

The problem

Traffic is not the constraint. Connectivity is.

Most publishers already have valuable audience, content and inventory. What is missing is the connective layer: inventory that is properly defined, demand that competes fairly, first-party data that reaches the decision layer, and measurement that explains rather than describes.

Without that layer, revenue depends on whichever platform sits closest to the impression. Yield becomes something that happens to the business instead of something the business designs.

Audience is an asset. Traffic is only a metric.

The assets

What you already own.

Before anything is bought or built, the existing estate is inventoried and valued.

    Audience & registrations
    Editorial content
    Display, video & audio inventory
    Newsletters
    First-party data
    Commerce & affiliate
    Apps & owned platforms
    Events & communities
    Archive & IP

The opportunity

Where value is currently hiding.

Not projections. Structural opportunities that exist because assets are disconnected.

Inventory value

Unsold, undervalued or undefined placements across web, app, video and audio environments.

Demand competition

Direct, programmatic and partner demand competing in one auction instead of sequentially.

First-party data

Registration, consent and behavioural signal turned into addressable, sellable audience products.

Commerce

Content that already drives purchase intent monetised beyond advertising.

Supply path value

Fewer intermediaries between demand and your inventory, with transparent sellers.json and ads.txt hygiene.

New products

Sponsorships, branded content, newsletters and audio packaged as commercial products.

Proof

Selected engagements.

Client names are confidential. Each summary states the problem, the intervention and the commercial result.

Case 01

Kids & family site, ad revenue restructuring

Problem
A high-traffic kids and family site ran a fully outsourced setup with limited demand competition, unclear inventory definition and compliance constraints that suppressed pricing on child-directed inventory.
Intervention
QuintworX restructured the ad revenue model: inventory redefined by placement and environment, demand access rebuilt so contextual and compliant demand competed on every impression, and direct packaging separated from open-market supply.
Commercial result
The site moved from a single outsourced revenue channel to a controlled sell-side stack with competing demand, its own pricing floors and reporting the commercial team can act on.

Case 02

Mobile app, ad stack restructuring

Problem
An app business relied on a mediation setup it did not control, with duplicated SDKs, no visibility into fill and price by placement, and revenue concentrated in one demand partner.
Intervention
QuintworX restructured the in-app ad stack: placement and format architecture redesigned, mediation and bidding partners rationalised, supply paths and reporting rebuilt so yield decisions are made in-house.
Commercial result
Demand concentration reduced, placement-level pricing and fill became visible, and monetisation decisions moved from the vendor back to the app owner.

What we fix

The problems we are usually brought in to solve.

Concrete, sell-side problems, not a service list.

    GAM and ad stack inefficiency

Prebid, SSP and supply path complexity

    Weak direct and programmatic packaging

    Unused first-party audience data

    Poor pricing, yield and reporting

    Dependence on outsourced monetisation

The architecture

What has to be designed.

The connective layer between the assets, commercial model, data, technology and demand.

Ad stack & demand

Ad server, header bidding and demand access designed so that every impression is genuinely contested.

Data & consent

Consent signalling, identity and first-party data architecture that keeps European demand addressable and compliant.

Commercial model

How direct, programmatic, commerce and partner revenue are priced, packaged and prioritised against each other.

Measurement

Revenue reporting that attributes outcomes to decisions, so optimisation compounds instead of resetting.

The QuintworX approach

Independent by design.

QuintworX does not resell technology, take vendor commissions or represent platforms.

    01

Independent: no vendor commission, no resale, no platform representation.

    02

Architecture first: the technology decision comes after the commercial design, never before.

    03

Executable: every recommendation lands as a roadmap your team or ours can implement.

How the work runs

01

Discover

Identify underused assets, revenue constraints, dependencies and opportunities.

02

Architect

Design the commercial, data and technology model required to unlock them.

03

Transform

Turn the architecture into an executable roadmap, operating model and implementation plan.

Entry point

Revenue Architecture Assessment.

A structured assessment of your existing audience, inventory, data, technology and commercial ecosystem to identify unrealised revenue opportunities and the architecture required to unlock them.

01

Asset map

What you already own, audience, inventory, data, content, transactions, physical assets and technology.

02

Dependency map

Where your revenue relies on external platforms or constrained infrastructure.

03

Opportunity map

Where new or underdeveloped revenue streams exist inside the current estate.

04

Priority roadmap

What should happen first, next and later, with the architecture each step requires.

Answers

Answered directly.

What is publisher monetisation?

Publisher monetisation is the design and operation of the systems that turn audience, content and inventory into revenue: ad stack, demand access, first-party data, direct sales, commerce and measurement working as one architecture.

Why does traffic not automatically become revenue?

Because value depends on architecture, not volume. If inventory is not properly defined, demand access is limited, data never reaches the decision layer and measurement cannot explain performance, the same audience produces materially less revenue.

Does QuintworX sell or resell ad technology?

No. QuintworX is independent, takes no vendor commission and does not resell technology. It advises on what the architecture should do, then designs it around your commercial goals.
