Quintworx overview

Quintworx overview

What is Quintworx?

Quintworx is an independent digital transformation and revenue architecture practice. It works across technology, data, inventory and people to design digital infrastructure that produces commercial outcomes. Quintworx is a trading name used by a sole trader, not a limited company.

What does Quintworx do?

Quintworx diagnoses how an organisation's technology, data, inventory and commercial models fit together, designs the architecture that connects them, and supports activation and optimisation. Typical work includes digital transformation, revenue architecture, ad stack optimisation, media network strategy and independent technology advisory.

What is Revenue Architecture?

Revenue Architecture is the design of the technology, data, inventory, demand and measurement systems that support sustainable digital commercial growth. It treats revenue as a system to be designed rather than a series of isolated optimisation projects.

Does Quintworx sell AdTech?

No. Quintworx does not resell technology, take vendor commissions or represent platforms. It provides independent architecture and technology advice, which means recommendations are based on commercial need rather than a product to sell.

How does Quintworx help organisations monetise existing assets?

By mapping the assets, audiences, data and touchpoints an organisation already controls, then designing the inventory model, technology, demand strategy and measurement required to make them monetisable. This is how a property portfolio, retail estate or mobility platform can become a media network.

Who does Quintworx work with?

Senior decision-makers, CEOs, CROs, CDOs, CTOs and commercial leaders, in media and publishing, retail, property, mobility, digital platforms and emerging media, primarily across Europe and the Middle East.

Is Quintworx a programmatic consultancy?

Programmatic is one capability, not the whole practice. Quintworx works across five connected layers: audience, technology, inventory and media products, commercial operations, and measurement. Programmatic sits inside the technology and demand layer, and it only pays back when the other four layers are connected to it.

Why does independence matter when choosing media technology?

Because most advice in this market is paid for by the party selling the technology or the media. Quintworx has no SSP agenda, takes no reseller margin, earns no media commission and carries no technology quota, so the recommendation can be the architecture the business needs rather than the product that pays the adviser.

About Quintworx

About Quintworx

Who is Quintworx?

Quintworx is an independent digital transformation, revenue architecture and media technology consultancy, founder-led and specialist rather than generalist. It works with media owners, publishers, retailers, property businesses, mobility platforms and digital ecosystems, primarily across Europe and the Middle East. Quintworx is a trading name used by a sole trader, not a limited company.

What makes Quintworx independent?

Quintworx does not resell ad technology, represent platforms or take vendor commissions. There is no incentive to recommend a particular SSP, DSP, data platform or ad server, so architecture decisions are made on commercial need. Independence at Quintworx means not being technology reliant.

What is the Fifth Element in Quintworx's approach?

The Fifth Element is the connective layer between technology, data, inventory and people. Most organisations own all four but run them as separate projects. Quintworx designs the connections between them so the whole ecosystem behaves as one commercial system.

What kind of organisations does Quintworx work with?

Small and medium-sized businesses as well as larger organisations, across media and publishing, retail, property, mobility, digital platforms and emerging media. What matters is that the business already controls assets, audiences or data and wants them turned into durable digital revenue, not the size of the logo.

Who does Quintworx work with inside a company?

Both ends of the organisation. Board-level and C-suite sponsors, CEOs, CROs, CDOs, CTOs and commercial leaders, set the objective, and ad ops managers, heads of department, analysts, developers and hands-on operators shape what is actually workable. We deliberately sit with the people running the systems day to day, because an ecosystem can only be designed properly once you understand and feel the environment at that level of detail.

How many clients does Quintworx take on?

A handful at a time. Quintworx chooses quality over quantity: rather than servicing hundreds of accounts with a templated product, we run a small number of engagements with frameworks tailored to that specific business, its stack, its inventory and its people.

What is the human element Quintworx delivers?

The balance between technology and the company's real needs. Platforms and AI supply scale, pattern-finding and automation; people supply judgement, context, politics, incentives and accountability. Quintworx delivers that human layer so the system stays weighted towards what the business needs rather than what the technology can do.

How does a Quintworx engagement work?

Engagements follow a six-stage transformation model: diagnose the current ecosystem, define the commercial objective, design the architecture, select the technology and partners, activate with the existing teams, then optimise. The output is architecture, clarity and internal capability rather than an ongoing dependency.

Programmatic infrastructure

Programmatic infrastructure

What is programmatic infrastructure?

Programmatic Infrastructure is the connected system of ad serving, bidding, identity, supply paths and measurement that determines how digital inventory is valued and sold. Treating it as infrastructure, rather than as a set of tools, is what makes performance predictable.

Does Quintworx resell ad technology?

No. Quintworx takes no vendor commissions and represents no platform. Assessment of SSPs, DSPs, ad servers and measurement partners is independent, which is why recommendations frequently remove technology rather than add it.

What does an ad stack assessment cover?

Ad serving and line item design, header bidding and Prebid configuration, SSP and demand partner value, floor pricing and yield, supply path efficiency and SPO, ads.txt and sellers.json hygiene, identity and consent, measurement credibility, and readiness for CTV, DOOH and retail media.

Media supply architecture

Media supply architecture

What is Media Supply Architecture?

Media Supply Architecture is the independent design of how a business's media assets, inventory, audiences, data, technology, demand, commercial relationships, measurement and operations connect, so that supply can be packaged, sold and measured as one system.

How is it different from yield optimisation?

Yield optimisation tunes settings inside an existing stack. Media Supply Architecture decides how the whole supply system should connect, so improvements compound instead of resetting.

Does Quintworx sell ad technology?

No. Quintworx is independent and technology agnostic, with no SSP agenda, reseller margin, media commission or technology quota.

Digital revamp

Digital revamp

What is a digital revamp?

A digital revamp is a structured rebuild of the parts of a digital business that decide commercial performance: the platform, the data, the commercial model and the operating rhythm. It is not a redesign of the website.

How is this different from a normal digital transformation project?

It starts from revenue rather than from technology. The first output is a decision about what to keep, what to fix and what to replace, based on commercial impact, not on a vendor roadmap.

Is this only for large organisations?

No. Smaller and mid sized digital businesses benefit most, because they carry the same structural problems with far less internal capacity to unpick them.

Do I have to replace my platforms?

Usually not. Most estates have more capability than they use. Replacement is a last resort, and only when the current system genuinely blocks the commercial model.

Who runs the work?

You keep ownership and the internal team keeps the decisions. QuintworX defines the architecture, evaluates vendors independently, and oversees delivery so the result matches the design.

Sell-Side 360 monetisation

Sell-Side 360 monetisation

What is publisher monetisation?

Publisher monetisation is the system that converts audience attention into revenue: how inventory is defined and packaged, how direct and programmatic demand compete for it, how it is priced, and how performance is measured and acted on. It is a system design question, not a list of demand partners.

Why is my eCPM low even though traffic is good?

In most cases the inventory is being sold into a single, undifferentiated auction with no floor logic, weak viewability, duplicated demand and no direct layer. Traffic quality is rarely the first cause. Packaging, pricing and auction design usually are.

Why does traffic not automatically become revenue?

Because value depends on architecture, not volume. If inventory is not properly defined, demand access is limited, first-party data never reaches the decision layer and measurement cannot explain performance, the same audience produces materially less revenue.

Should I run my own ad stack or outsource it?

Own the accounts, the data and the commercial relationships. Outsource execution capacity if you need it. Handing the whole stack to a managed partner usually means giving away the pricing decisions that determine your revenue.

How long before monetisation changes show in revenue?

Configuration and auction changes typically show inside one to two full billing cycles. Packaging, direct sales and data-led pricing take a quarter or more, because they depend on demand relationships rather than settings.

Do you resell ad technology or take a share of revenue?

No. QuintworX is independent. There is no resale, no vendor commission and no platform representation, so the recommended setup is the one that serves the business, not a partner quota.

Retail & commerce media

Retail & commerce media

Does Quintworx sell a retail media platform?

No. We don't sell a retail media platform. We determine what you actually need, then help you select and connect the right technology and partners.

Is retail media only for large retailers?

No. Any business with digital traffic, first-party customer relationships and supplier or brand partners may have a retail media opportunity. Readiness depends on inventory, data, relationships and measurement, not size alone.

Media owners

Media owners

Can any digital asset become a media product?

Not automatically. An asset becomes media when it has a reachable audience, usable signals, a commercially viable format and a route to buyers. Quintworx assesses viability first and only architects what makes sense.

Do we need new technology to start?

Often not. Existing systems are mapped first. Technology requirements are defined after the commercial model, so nothing is bought before it is needed.

Inventory

Inventory

What counts as advertising inventory?

Any owned surface that can carry a commercial message and be measured: web and app placements, video and audio positions, newsletters, in-store and building screens, events, sponsorship slots and product placements. If it can be defined, counted and priced, it is inventory.

Why does inventory definition matter more than volume?

Buyers pay for clarity. Undefined supply is bought at the lowest available price because there is nothing to compare it against. Defined supply, with quality, context and measurement attached, can carry a premium.

Should I add more ad placements to earn more?

Rarely. Adding placements usually lowers the average price and damages the experience. Restructuring, repackaging and repricing the existing supply almost always produces more revenue than adding units.

Can physical spaces and screens be treated as inventory?

Yes. Screens, spaces, footfall and events can be defined, counted and sold with the same discipline as digital placements, and connected to the same demand and reporting.

How do I know what my inventory is worth?

By measuring what it currently achieves, comparing it with equivalent supply in the market, and testing price against real demand. Not by asking a partner whose margin depends on the answer.

Audience & data

Audience & data

What is first party data in a media business?

First party data is the signal a business collects from its own audience and customers: registrations, subscriptions, content behaviour, transactions, newsletter engagement and app usage. It becomes commercially useful only when it is consented, connected and expressed as something a buyer can act on.

How much traffic do I need before data is worth working on?

Scale matters less than structure. A smaller audience with clean consent, stable identifiers and a few well-defined segments is more sellable than a large audience spread across disconnected systems.

Do I need a customer data platform?

Usually not first. Most businesses can define, prove and sell audience products with the systems they already run. A platform is worth buying once the commercial use case exists and the volume justifies it.

How does consent affect what I can sell?

Consent decides what is legally addressable. A consent setup that is unclear or badly implemented quietly removes a large share of your inventory from the addressable pool, which shows up as low yield rather than as a compliance alert.

Can this work without third party cookies?

Yes, and it should be designed that way. Owned identifiers, contextual signal, modelled segments and clean measurement are the durable layer. Anything built purely on third party identifiers is borrowed time.
